Strictly Halloween Week
Vicky and Kai
I liked the choreography and the story telling but somehow it didn’t go with the music for me.
I loved the dancing though, good stride and flow across the floor and the rhythm and timing was great. She now needs to work on core strength to make the arms and body flow.
Ellie and Vito
Loved how she started on her own. Elie’s rhythm as usual was on point but I did feel it went a bit out of time in places. She performed the routine without a mistake and her footwork was good.
George and Alexis
I felt the beginning choreography was all Alexis. George is a great dancer and he danced this routine well. Loved his arms and his hip action, great rhythm and timing. I just felt the choreography wasn’t showing his abilities off it was all about Alexis.
La Voix and Aljaz
Out of hold it was a bit steppy but great timing and presence. Though in hold I thought it was great. The shaping in hold was really good and the drama brilliant. Loved the skirt work.
Lewis and Katie
I loved this routine. Two professionals dancing a theatre routine perfectly that’s all I can say. fantastic.
Bevinder and Julian
A hard piece of music to Rumba to. I liked to story telling. Bevinder danced that really nice, her arms were beautiful but she needs to use her body more and control the placing of the body weight through the core and into her feet. It’s a shame she has not got a better professional.
Harry and Karen
Wow what difference, he looked slimmer but I think that because his shirt was buttoned up. Lovely frame, and great lifts, he now needs to learn to use his legs and feet for a full stride but I liked this.
Karen and Carlos
I love the concept and the choreography but she didn’t have enough upper body strength for the choreography. The concept was two guys but she still looked like a girl dancing.
On saying that her foot work was lovely, timing and rhythm brilliant and leg action great.
Alex and Johannes
Performance from the start was great. Fantastic hip, great armology and the musicality wow. What a shimmy and those lifts. Sometime she was a little behind on the timing but it was still great.
Amber and Nikita
A very clever American Smooth Viennese Waltz routine which I liked. In frame she held her position but now needs to lower her shoulders and stretch from the ribs to create space between their bodies. Her feet need to turned out less but her foot action and footwork was great.
